Where am I?
I’ve lingered in this darkness too long
this quest for light has finally come to an end
I feel it’s close
The Demon haunts me down in the deep
I must warn them; I must escape from
These roots of black have grown down into the core
Of the Earth to take away the fire within
Becoming weak, I must return back to the surface
To warn them, it’s coming soon

Light forsake my eyes
Longing for the sight
I will not seek again
Fleeting paradise
Blind my eyes
As I watch the world burn

It takes me, unmakes me
And in the fire rebuilds me
Reborn, I turn my back on light
And delve down ever deeper
Follow it further into the dark
One step at a time
Explore this world below me
A chance to claim it all as mine

This sight before me defies the mind
A chasm straight down to the core
In this abyss is where I'll find
The answers to the questions that haunt me
Follow the roots into this hell
Abscond this life of sin
I feel this fire in my soul and I know
The answer lies within

Rend the Earth
Cow the sky
All will bow
To the Tree of Life

Get me out of here
I’ve wandered in the dark recesses of my mind for far too long
in this pitch black world I find
a scorching light revealed before my eyes
and I know, I’ll never leave again

Drain the core
Suck it dry
Bathe in the Hellfire
Burn for eternity

Dark embrace my mind
‘Til the end of time

Rotting paradise

As I watch the world burn around me

As I wait for these roots to take me from this life
no triumph to my name, no solace for my strife
The roots have reached the core
Absorbed the heat within
Our time is growing short
The end will soon begin

Darkness rise

I falter in search of the Sun
